Jesus teach his disciples this powerful massage, " But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Mathew 6: 33. I know it is powerful and challenging statement that requires higher spiritual intelligence to understand its right meaning and live the word in a day we are living. The fact and the matter is the day we are living is very challenging that requires faith, strong relationship with God , intelligence to seek the face of God for understanding.

Jesus made the statement for he knows the challenges of his disciples at the time. He basically started teaching to lay treasure on earthly things, rather in heavenly things. He said, " Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." Mathew 6: 19-34

In this particular place Jesus taught many valuable lessons and made many powerful statements though he summarise the whole matter saying seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all the other things shall be added unto us. The thing if we are seeking the kingdom of God and his righteousness the other things we need surly will add unto us.

One thing we can learn is when we seek the kingdom of God we are gathering treasures in haven not in earth. When we do what God required us to do we are laying treasures in heaven. When we pray to God trusting his power and will we are laying up treasure in heaven, When we sit down and read the word of God to learn we are gathering treasure in heaven. When we are testifying the goodness of God, and his mercy to others we are laying treasures in heaven. When we pray for others who seek God we are laying treasure in haven. When we worship God and thank him and give him all the glory and the honour he deserve we are lying treasures in heaven.

As a believers we just need to learn to trust him, who he is, what he taught us, what he has given us. That is all that we need, to trust him in all our heart what ever happens in our path. Storm may rise, flood may come, strong wind may come, scorching sun may come, what ever may come if you trust God you will survive them all. At the end you will come out strong in your faith and you will understand the saying thought it all I learn to trust the lord

I trust you Jesus in everything for i know you are a faithful God. I acknowledge you Jesus as my God, my creator, my saviour, my shield, my hope and my salivation. Therefore, i am determined to worship you, to trust and follow you in all the days you gave me. Amen!
