Blessed be the name of Jesus for his mercies and for his love. I thank him for everything he has done for me, above all for the hope of salivation he has given me through faith.
I believe in him, I trust him for I began to following him trusting his word. We all started our walk with God through faith. Therefor, Faith is the only substance or connector that will help us reach God. When we think of faith there are things that the word of God teaches us. First, Faith is a substance of things that is hoped for and it is the evidence of things that is not seen. It was written, " For by it the elders obtained a good report.3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Hebrews 11:1- 3. David established the same point saying," By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth." Psalms 33:6
We know that the heaven are made by the word of the lord through faith for faith comes by haring and hearing from the word of the Lord as it was written in Romans 10:17. When we think God we think of who is, he is the Alpha and Omega. He is the beginning and the end. he is the one who was, who is, and who is going to come. He is the only true God and everlasting life, he is the way the truth and life. He is the only true light comes down from heaven, he is a shepherd. He is the might God, an everlasting father and the princess of peace. There is more to say about who God is, he is the omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient God who knows everything.
Therefore, it is good to put your trust in him than in anything else. The word of God encourages us to trust in the lord in all our heart, he encouraged us not to lean on in our understanding but acknowledge him in all our ways for he shall direct our path as it was written in proverbs 3.
The truth is there is nothing we can do by ourselves without God. Jesus told his disciples to abide in him saying, "I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing." John 15: 1-5.
Therefor, In our walk we are learning to have faith in God in his words. In our walk with God we are learning to humble ourselves before God, we are learning leave all what we have to follow him to inherit his kingdom. In our walk we are learning to walk with God in all challenging situations. We are learning to walk through the water, and through the fire, through the storm, through the strong wind, through flood. The best thing is he promised he would be with us along the way. He said, "But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. " Isaiah 43: 1-3.
As we pass through all these avenues in life we would learn to trust God and his word. God encourages us to trust him in all our hearts and keep his commandments saying, " My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction: For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth." Proverbs 3: 1-12.
