God didn't bring you this far to leave you.

Praise God for all his goodness and for his mercies, for his love. I can only say that I am grateful to him. I will only praise his name, and say thank you Jesus when I look back in to my life to see from where he has brought me.

The truth is when there is so many thing going on in our life, it would be hard to look back and remember what he has done for us. We will only be able to able to be grateful , and thank God when we took some time to look back and reflect on the goodness of God. It is only when we look back, we are able to see the goodness, the mercy , the patience, and love of God upon us.

This is the time I was convinced to take time to look back, to think and contemplate on the goodness of God in our path. I am convinced it is important to stand and look back to see how far God has brought us. I believe that is when , we will find reason to be thankful and be grateful for. That is when we would find reason, in facts hundreds, thousands of reasons to be thankful and be grateful about.

That is when we would be able to see the great mercy of God upon us. That is when we would find ourselves and humbled to say it is only because of his mercy that we are not consumed as the writer of lamentation indicated.

I know the truth is, we don't have any power over our past, and even over the future, the only time we have is the now, which is the day , which is the hour and the minutes. However, it some times it is important to look back and see from where God has brought you. Some times we need to take time to see how far God has brought us.

The truth is our life in general is composed of two things, a flesh and a spirit. Therefore, seeing and understanding ourselves from both perspective is essential. It is essential to see from the perspective of the flesh, which often be related to the things of this earth, and the perspective of the spirit, which is our spiritual life, which is basically the things of heaven.

It is essential to understand we live in flesh though we have aspiration in our spiritual life. It is important to we are spiritual beings though we live in the flesh. It is important to know, understand we are both flesh and spirit. We need to know , and understand flesh and spirit are two separate things in our life. In fact it was indicated in the bible they are contrary to each other as it was written, "For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would." Galatians 5: 17.

The fact is we are fleshly, born and grew up in a world filled with many fleshly knowledge , desires and aspirations. Therefore, it is inevitable seeing ourselves with all these desires, and aspirations in our life. What we need to do is, to know and understand what our desires in the flesh are, which means we need to understand we have fleshly knowledge, skills, desires and aspirations. We need to know, understand these desires to be able to balance them with our spiritual desires and aspirations.

In the same manner, we need to know and understand we are spiritual beings, and this world is filled with many spiritual knowledge, desires and aspiration. Therefore, We need to know and understand what God has given us, teaches us many lessons through his words. We need to know and understand that we need to seek, learn and understand our true essence of who we are in the eyes of God using the word of God.

I believe understand ourselves from these two perspective, the perspective of the flesh, and the perspective of the spirit would help us balance our life in this life and prepare us for the life to come. I believe understanding our life in this life from these perspectives would help us understanding ourselves and others better.

The truth is our spiritual life begins when we believed in God, his word, his work through his word. It started when we believe and obey to what God says, and leave our ways to follow the way of God. Therefore, It is this relationship is basically established, and will be sustained through the ingredient called faith for it is written without faith it is impossible to please God. What is Faith?, This is what is written about faith in the bible, " Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrew 11:1.

What happen is God will began to work in our life when we believed in him, his word and his work on the cross. He work in our life in mysterious way, he may start teaching us basic things we never give attention before, he may teach us his word, or reveal the meaning of his word to us, he may convict us to change our ways, he may transform us using his words and his spirit, he may allow some challenges to come our way to grow our faith in him, or he way allow changes to come to test our love, dedication to his words. The thing is when begin to work in our life , things to start to change for good. The process of change at times would not be pleasant for it could be painful, it could be frustrating, it could be unpleasant feelings. However, if we stand trusting God and his word, he would shape, mould and transform our mind, and our hear and would make us to be the person he want us to be.

Therefore, at times it is good to stand and look back to see where God has brought is both spiritually and physically. That is when you will be able find reasons to be thankful and grateful and thankful for. We will be able to see on the things we manage to succeed if we take time to look back and see. We will be able to see the mistakes we made , and all the things we failed to do. We will be able to see things we fail short, the things discouraged, frustrated us , the things that still our faith, dedications, aspirations. The important thing is we need to take responsibilities for all, for we often point fingure to others , and blame other for our failure and mistakes.

The truth and the facts is walking with God is not an easy task for this world is filled with many things. It requires strong faith, dedication, commitment, prayer. It is difficult for we may often find ourselves walking in tough path. We may experience failure, and make mistakes, but we need to become a believer and learn to stand up and work on the things we need to work on. We need to become believers and learn to walk with God in faith for he is faithful to his words.

The truth is at times we may find ourselves murmuring , and complaining. We may find ourselves walking in disobedience, unfaithfulness, procrastination, sins and all other things the enemy of our soul, Devil would bring to discourages us. However, we need to come to God and ask him for help for he has a grace that would help us in difficult times.

We need to look back to see from where God has brought us to see his goodness, his mercies and his love. We need to look back to see his favour, his love and mercy. We need to look back to see from where God has brought us both spiritually and physically.

I believe when we look back to see from where God has brought and what he has done for us we would be compelled to praise him and worship him. I believe when we look back and see from where God has brought us we would be able to recognise all our faults, our luck and shortages of the grace of God. Then we will be able to repent and ask God for his grace that will help us go further.

We look back only to see from where God has brought us and to give thanks to him. We look back to see and appreciate the grace of God that enables us pass through the mountains, through the valise. We look back to see how the grace of God helped us pass through the night, through troubles, through mourning. We look back not to dwell in the past, but to be inspired to look forward seeing what the lord God has done for us thus far.

The truth remain for now is the time, but we need to look back to see from where he brought. This is when we will find reasons to be to thankful and be grateful about. This is even when we will find hope, faith, courage, determination to go forward trusting God for he surly has something for us for he said, " For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

Thank you Jesus for your words for I know your words are a lump for my feet and a light for my path as it is written in Psalms 119:105
