Teach me thy way oh Lord

Praise God for all his goodness and his mercies that was able to sustain me until this day. It is ended the grace, mercy, and love of God that was able to keep me from falling. Therefore, I bless the name of Jesus. I bless his for keeping me safe while I was passing through tough roads. I bless him for raising me up while the enemy is trying to put me down, and I am grateful to him. I surly know it is because of the mercy of God that I was not consumed as the writer indicated it.

Here I am at his presence again with all my burdens, my pains and my sorrows for I know he is faithful to what he said in his word. I know it is him who said in his word, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Mathew 11: 28:30, Praise the lord for his wonderful word. Therefore, I would willingly come to him with all what I have in my heart. I know his promises are true if we learn to follow him taking his word as it is. In this particular place he said take up on my yolk and learn from me. Then right after he described about himself he gave us a wonderful provision, which we would find rest for our soul.

I am grateful for his word, I will give everything that I have in my mind and my heart to the Lord Jesus. When I thought of what I have in my mind, and my heart I realised there is a lot. I know what I am thinking, and what I am having in my heart and in my mind seems right according to my reasoning and justification. I also know that God has his own Justification based on his word. There is one thing that the lord God has been teaching me in the past couple of years. He is teaching that our ways and his ways, our thought and his thoughts are quite different. That is what one of the writer of the bible Isaiah alluded the point saying, “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55: 7-9.

Praise God when I thought of all these, my ways and the ways of God, my thoughts and the thought of God what came to my mind was to ask for his mercy and forgiveness and prayer to teach me his way. I know I have been seeking the way of the lord, but I will continue to seek his face to show me his ways. I am convinced I need to learn his ways, his voice, his instruction and council to have direction to follow Jesus and his will for my life. I know this is one of the main reason I started to follow Jesus for he allow me to learn first he is the way, the truth and the life. He is said, no one comes to the father except through him. Praise God here I am determined to learn to follow his leading so that I could follow him to where he would lead me. Here is the word he brought to me earlier to lead me to the final point. He said, “Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end. There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.” Proverbs 19: 20-21. Blessed be the name of Jesus for all his goodness, for his mercies, and for everything that is in his word, Amen!
