Thy rod and stick would comfort me

Blessed be the name of Jesus for all his goodness and for his mercies, for his love and for his long sufferings. I bless his name for giving me a second chance to live with him, a chance to become his child. I know his great mercies, love and his faithfulness is great. I know his mercies and love are new every morning as the writer of lamentations indicated it. I trust his word and I acknowledge him for his great mercilessness and love. I know it is because of his mercies i was not consumed as the writers indicated it.

That is why I would com to him to give worship him, and give him all the glory and honour he deserve. I believe he deserve all the glory and the honour for I know he is the one who kept me from falling. I know it is him who holed my hand when I was weak and weary and encouraged me. I know it is him who fed me when I was hunger and I know it is him who satisfied my thirsty when I was thirsty. He was the one who holded my hand when I was passing through difficult situation in life.

I know this is the day that the lord had made and I will rejoice and be glad in it believing the word of God. I know this is the day of salivation as the writer indicated it, it is a day of hope and victory. This is the day God has given us to come to him in praise and worship, it is a day of hope and aspiration. It is the day God has made for his won glory. That is why I was able to stop, think and reflect about the goodness of the lord. This is the day God has made, to take time to look back and see what the lord God has done for me along the path of life. All what I can say is blessed be the name of Jesus for all his goodness. The only thing I could say is thank you Jesus when I look back to my life and see from where he brought me.

I know, I know from the bottom of my heart it is not my strengthen, my knowledge or my wisdom that brought me thus far, but it is the mercy of the lord, and his love and graciousness. I know only his mercy and his love are the one that enables me to stand. It is his grace, it is his love that kept me to stand. I know it is his love sustained me in my walk with him. I know it is his hand that holed my hand, it is his grace kept me from falling the writer said well saying," He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul." Psalms 121:3-7.

It is only his mercy and his love sustained me in my walk. I know it is only his loving kindness and his tender mercies sustained me, kept me from falling. I know it is these tings that would keep me going day today. I know the lord is my shepherd , and I shall not want as as It was written. "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever." Psalms 23:1-5. Praise God for his word for he is our shepherd and his mercy and love comfort us all the way in our walk, Glory to him.
