I will depend on you Lord

Blessed be the name of Jesus for all his goodness and for his mercy, for his love and long suffering. I bless his name for he is the only true God and everlasting father. He is the Creator of the heaven , and the earth , he is the provider and keeper.

I trust him for I know he is a faithful God. He is my strength, my shield, my hope and aspiration comes from him. He is the source of my life and he is the source of my future and hope. Therefore, I would worship him, only him I would worship. This is what came to my mind when I thought of God and what he has done for me.

I continued to thank him when I think of his goodness, and all what he has done for me. I said, he is my strength when I am week , and he gives me hope when I lost my hope. He encourages me when I am afraid and are not sure about things. He is a God who have all the answer when I come to him with my endless questions. Therefore, I give him all the glory and the honor for all his great work, and promises.

I continued to thank God when I began to think and contemplate on his words. He reminded me that my hope and aspiration comes from him , and him alone. I learned my internal motivation and resilience comes from him, which is from his word. I said, I love you Jesus for I know you first loved me.

I know at times I find myself passing tough and challenging situation in life. I in fact learned this is one of the challenging time of my life. I know challenges, temptations are part of our life in our walk with God for the enemy of our soul Satan, the world , and sometimes the flesh would bring challenges and temptations in our ways. The fact is life is a Journey and sometimes we would find ourselves passing through different avenues.

Here I am passing through different avenue in life. It seems it is a testing time in my life for I am facing some tough challenges. It seems like it is a time for me to learn and realize everything I depended on slipping away. I have seen the things I depended on are gone, and I have seen the people I have depended on changing instantly and constantly. I could see even the people I thought I know suddenly became different , I have seen the people I thought know me well treated me as if they don't know me. I thought people I know would stand beside me and support me when I need them , instead I have their rejection , and confrontation my life and my work. To be at the place where I am now is a tough and also strange situation for I never be in this types of situation before.

The good thing is I know God is in this, and I know he is with me in this. I know God is with me for i trust his word for he said in his word he would never leave us neither forsaken us. I know in his word he said, " But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee" Isaiah 43:1-2.

This is what came to my mind and my heart when I thought and contemplate about life , and the things that is happening around me at this particular time. The good thing is God helped me to realise and understand the situation. This is what I thought and said to my self after this realisation , I think this is the time I should learn to depend on God , him alone. I realized that It is a time for me to learn to depend on Jesus. I am telling myself for I am convinced that I should depend on Jesus and only in him I should depend. I thought this is the time I truly believe that I should learn to depend on Jesus and him alone in my life. I thought this is the time I should learn to depend on his strength, his power, his wisdom, not my own.

While I was thinking about all these things I came across this scripture that explain my thought and my declaration. " He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.6 He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.8 Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.9 Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.10 Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.11 God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.12 Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work." Psalms 62:1-12

Now, I know everything is changing, constantly changing , and changing for we are living in the world that is changing constantly. The reason is God, Satan, and humanly knowledge would have an influence to change things. The best thing is to trust in the lord, God him alone. The only way is to trust and depend in God, the only one who is not changing. Learn to depend on him for he is faithful. He is the only God who is faithful to do what he said he would do as long us we believe and trust in him. He is a God , an unchanging God, the God of the prophets , and the God of the apostles. He is the God of Abreham, the God of Issac, the God of Jecobe. He is the God of the universe , he is the first and the last . He is the beginning and the end , the alpha and omega. He was the one who is , was and going to come. Therefore, I would depend on him. I would depend on his strength, his love , and his mercies . I would depend on his wisdom and understanding , above all I would depend on his word for he said, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6

I would depend on his for he is the one who said , " Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:

hear oh Israel the Lord our God is one Lord. It is him who said you shall love the lord your . And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates." Deuteronomy 6:4-9.

I will depend on his words, I will depend on him for he said, "Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lordrevealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:1-5

I would depend on him for he said, "But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. I would depend on God and him alone for it is him who said, " Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them. Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper withersoever thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Joshua 1:6-9

I will depend on God , him alone I will depend for he said, "We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. 2nd Peter 1:19-21. I will depend on him , and I will continue to depend on God for he is Elshadai.

I will depend on God , in him alone I will depend . God is the only one is who is truthful, who is just , and faithful. Therefore, I will depend on God , and him alone for he said, "And, behold, the Lord stood above it, and said, I am the Lord God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed; And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of." Genesis 28:13-15. I praise God for his word for he is truthful in his words.

I will depend on God, and trust him in all my heart, in all my soul and your strength. I would depend on him for he is the one who instruct me concerning what my desire should be saying"One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple. For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord. Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me. When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek. Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up. Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies. Psalms 27: 4-11. Praise God for the lord is my light and my salivation whom shall I be afraid.

Therefore, I will depend on God and him alone. I will depend on him for my life. I will depend on him for he has given me a work to do, to witness and teach the word of God to people. I will depend on him for he is a God who said, "And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things. And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them. " Luke 24:44-50 . Praise God for his word and all the blessings he has for all in his word. We are called from the darkness to his marvelous light to witness his goodness and his mercy.

I will depend on God, him only will I depend. He is my helper, he is my strength, my refuge, my hope and my salivation for he has taken my life out of sin and death. Therefore, I will depend on him. He is my saviour and he saved me from sin and death. Therefore, I will depend on him for he said, " Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers." Acts 2:38-42.

I will depend on him , and I will praise him for it is him who took my soul out of death and sin. I will depend on him for he is a great God. He is a God of the heaven and the earth , a might God. I will depend on him for he is the first and the last. He is the beginning and the end end , He is the Alpha and Omega. I will depend on him for he is the only wise God and our saviour. He is a Holy God , and he is a merciful God. Therefore, I will trust him and will depend on him. I will depend on him, in his great mercy. I will depend on him and I will come to him for he said, "Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the Lordyour God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil. Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the Lord your God? Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O Lord, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God? Then will the Lord be jealous for his land, and pity his people. Yea, the Lord will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen: But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things. Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the Lord will do great things. Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil. And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed." Joel 2:12-26.

I will depend on him for he is the one who called me , take away my sins and the death pronounced upon me. He is the one who guided me, sustained me , and gave me hope. Therefore, I will depend on him , and him alone I will depend. I will depend on him for he is the source of everything I need in this life and the life to come. Therefore, I will depend on him and him alone for he said, " For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. " 1 Thessalonians 4:14-19. Amen, Glory to you Jesus for you are a mighty God, everlasting father, and the princess of peace. I will depend on you for you are a faithful God!
