The Lord is my light and my salivation

The lord is my light and my salivation whom shall I be afraid. The lord is a strength of my heart whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked even my enemies and my foes came upon me, they stumble and fail. Though war should rise against me in this will I be confident, one thing have I desire of the lord that I may seek after. I may dwell in the house of the lord all the days of my life. Psalms 27.13

These are the words of David expressing his knowledge. He begin by saying the lord is my light and my salivation. He was claiming, telling his adversaries that the Lord God is his light. He was declaring Jesus, the creator of the heaven and the earth is his light and his salivation. Therefore, he shall not be afraid. He continue affirming by saying the Lord is a strength of his heart and whom he shall be afraid.

Sometimes we would find ourselves passing through different avenue, and we would find the path filled with Darkness, with fear, uncertainty. That is when we need to know and declare that the Lord God is our light and salivation. He is in dead a light that shines in the darkness. He is the source of our salivation, and our hope. Therefore, we should not be afraid. He is the only one who can strength our heart with his word when we are discouraged by many things come to our mind and heart. God is the only one who encourage our heart when we find ourselves in fear and discomfort. He would encourage our heart and our mind with his word when we trust and incline our ears to his words.

When we do incline our ears to his word he would help us and lead us to his light. That is what David said in his word. He said, Thy word is a lump for my feet and light for my path. Psalms 119:105. The Lord God, and his words would lead us in our path and guide us to our destiny. When he encourage our heart, and guide us when we pass through the darkness, we would confidently say the lord is my light and my salivation whom shall I be afraid. Let the Lord God , his word become our salivation.
