He anointed me with oil
Blessed be the name of Jesus for all his goodness and for his mercies and for his love. I thank him for what he has given me for he gave me a life to live , and a hope top receive when this life is over.
I trust him for he is a faithful God. I trust him and wait upon him until he comes. This is what came to my mind while I was thinking and contemplating on his words. The words that David said in Psalms 23. He began his statement by boasting on the Lord. This is what he exactly said, " The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. "Psalms 23:1. He continued appreciating the lord for his provision saying, " He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. " Psalms 23:2-3
Then he indicated why he began boasting on the lord saying, " He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." Psalms 23:3-4
Then finished his statement by indicating what God has done for saying, "Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever." Praise the Lord for his words for his words are true.
