The name above every name

Praise God for all his goodness and his mercies and for his love. I thank him for all what he has given me today for I have life , and hope in him.

This is what came to my mind while I was siting and thinking about the goodness of God. He reminded me of the power of his name. I realised that Jesus is the name above all names. Jesus is the name that we are given to call and to be saved. It is written those who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved as it is written, " And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call." Joel 2: 32. We would find the same scripture in the same place, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13.

Praise God for his words. It was indicated the name of Jesus is given for us to call and shall be saved. There are a lots of things that we should be saved from, but the major ones are sin and death. The name of Jesus is given for us to call and be saved first from sin and death, then to all kind of troubles and dangers come to our life. There are many scriptures indicated that the name of Jesus is for salivation from sin and death. We can look at scriptures such as: Acts 2:38-42; Acts 4:12. Jesus is the name above all names . It is a name we are given to call and shall be saved.
