There is power in the name of Jesus!

There is power in the name of Jesus for Jesus is the name above all names as it was written . It is written, " But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippian 2:7-11.

There is power in the name of Jesus for Jesus is a name we are given to call to be saved. Jesus is the name we are all given to be saved for it was written, " Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. " Acts 4:12.

There is power in the name of Jesus for Jesus is the name of God, it is a name of Salivation. God reveled himself to his people through time beginning from the time people began to call the name of God. It was written saying, " And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the Lord." Genesis 4:26. Then we could see God the creator of the heaven and the earth has been revealing his name to his people incrementally to his people in the old testament .The children of Israelite use to call him Jehovah , which means the one who is and the one who makes all to exist . Soon after we would see that he continue to reveal himself to his people throughout a compound name: Such as Jehovah Rapha , that means God my provider; Jehovah nisi , that means God my victory or my banner , Jehovah stedkun , that means God is my righteousness.

There is power in the name of Jesus for Jesus is the name of God, it is a name of salivation. He then revealed his name to the children of Israelite through Moses. When modes asked him to tell him his name for he would tell the people when they asked him. This is what Moses asked God, and this is what God told Moses, "And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you." Exodus: 3:13-14

There is power in the name of Jesus for Jesus is the name of God, it is a name of salivation for it is written," And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins." Mathew 1:21. That is why we would find the first preaching is preached for remission of sins. It was written, " Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Acts 2:38. Praise God for his word.
