One day or day One......You decide

This is a quotation came to my mind while I was thinking and contemplating about the day and the situation,, I was in. Sometimes we would find ourselves in the middles of tough situation. I know words have power to help us stop, think, reflect when we find ourselves in a tough and challenging situation. Words have power to inspire, shape and frame our thinking. Words have power to change and guide our thinking. It is us who chose the right words help us think and frame our thoughts.

As I said, this is the quotes that took my attention while I was thinking and contemplating. The truth is we often find ourselves in a situation that requires us to stop and think before we make a choices or decision. We always have options, and choices to make in our path in each day. Each day, we face choices, and we have to make decisions. I think talking about choices, and decisions is a very tough and challenging topic to talk about. It is challenging and tough for we don't have a clear knowledge about the future. As a human being, no matter how strong we are spiritually or in our relationship with God, we can't be sure and certain about the future. Only God knows the future, and he holds our feature in his hand.

The only thing I believe we can do is to have faith in God and do our level best in all what we do. That means we need to trust God and make a choice that we believe is right by taking the principle of God and what he given us. We need to trust God knowing God hold all our future for he knows the end from the beginning as it was written "Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:" Isaiah 46:10. The only thing we can do is to trust God and do the best we can with our limited knowledge knowing God has the best interest for us. The good thing is not only he knows the end from the beginning, but also, he has a plan for us for it is written, " For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. " Jeremiah 29:11

It is true the choices we make have the consequences, either positive or negative, right, or wrong. We are people we make mistakes; we are not perfect, we are human we have flaws, and biases based on our limited knowledge. No matter what happened, what types of choices we made, it is how we see the result matters most. I believe both results equally important in our walk with God, either it teaches us or become a blessing for us.

That means if the result is negative or wrong it teaches us something, and we would be wise and strong to make the right one next time. If the choices, we made were wrong it would help us to learn a lesson in our walk with God. If the choices we made were wright, it would help us build strong relationship with God. What matter most is the perspective we take both in our choices and how we take the result.

Overall, we need to believe each day a gift and it is a new beginning no matter what happened yesterday. The choice is ours as it was stated in the quotation, One day or Day one...... I chose to call it Day one. .........because it's a new day.
