What an exciting day

Today is an exciting and wonderful day for me. The very first reason is, it is the day the Lord God has made. Therefore , I will come with thanksgiving and praise in my heart.
I am grateful for God for everything we have achieved through the project thus far. You will find more reason to be grateful if you take time to think and contemplate. You will find more reasons, reason 1, 2 , 3, 4, reason 5 , and more to be grateful and to smile.
Today, team of people including the project manager , a professional that works in area of education and health , and volunteers , were able to travel to Sedika. They travel to provide a one day training for the entire Sedika school staffs , parents comeetee members and for girls students in the school.
I am grateful for it happened as a result of hard work , dedication many people who work behind the scean. I know such things would not just happened . As a matter of fact we have been working hard to arrange this memorable meeting to take place in the last few months. For a long time It was our plan to arange such a meeting like this, because the primary objective of the project is support Sedika school in their effort to improve the teaching learning process.
Today is the day all the effort we put pays off for the team were able to travel to provide the training.
The first person I would like to acknowledge on this is my great friend Samson Efrem, my highschool friend.We have been in contact recently and we shared a lot about the project and it's objective. My friend followd the work of the project and the progress we made. He told me he was thinking to supporting the cause this project , A Journey back to Sedika from Winnipeg. He was willing to support me in any ways he could.
During our recent communication he shared with me his willingness to support the project in area of professinal development . He wanted to support the project by sending professional who are interested in children and education to provide training. The training is geared toward importing Sedika school staff and students, particularly girls .
This particular tranning was focused on staff and the school girls .
Accordingly, we contacted Miserach Ayalew , a professional work in area of education and health through his recommendation . Miserach is a lecturer in a nursing school in one of the biggest hospital in the capital , Addis Ababa. We send the request with the details of the content we want to address during this meeting . We send the topic of discussion and the guidelines to follow. She accepted our request and she confirmed she was willing to travel to Sedika to provide a one day training to the entire school community and to girls
Today , they traveled to Sedika to provide this training. It wss exciting, inspiring and memorable in many ways. I am writing this short report just to acknowledge the great work the team has done in the last few weeks to make sure this meeting is a successful one.
I want to take this opportunity to thank Miserach Ayalew, Sergu Alemu , and the volunteer who traveled with them. I also want to thank Sedika School administration, staff and students for their support and cooperation for the training to be successful . I want to say thanks and may God bless you!
