Today

Today, I had a chance to share some of the activities and the works we have been doing with University of Winnipeg Collegiate students and staffs. We had a wonderful time together.

The University of Winnipeg collegiate has been a great support and source of encouragement for me. My connection with the colligate started while I was a students at the University of Winnipeg for one term I was connected to teach in one of the program they were running, Kids science. In the program, the collegiate provide opportunities for students from different schools to come to the collegiate twice or three times in a year to participate in some exciting science lesson. The university invited some interested educators to teach some science lesson to these students through the program. So, in a spring of 2015 me and my friends applied for the role and accepted to teach some science. I remember some of the exciting lessons we thought, how to make a Lava Lamp , and some other lessons as well. We had a great time working through this program and that is how our connection started.

Through the year our connection and friendship grew. Some time in 2016 I shared with them about the project a Journey back to Sedika from Winnipeg. They have been a great support since to the project and its work. It was a great learning experience for us both for we were able to share and exchange ideas and experiences.

I am grateful, today I had another opportunity to share with them about some of the exciting work and activities of the project. I want to take this opportunity again to say, Thank you to all the staffs and students who showed us their support and the willingness to support.
