One exciting day

When you try to live you life believing each day is a gift from God, you will find reasons to be happy and be grateful about. You will find those moments that makes you smile and wonder though it seems it is the same normal day. I started to believe well essentially life is all about finding those peicess of moments, either big ones or small ones , and make them to be a reason to be grateful about. The good thing those moments are there everywhere. They are there out there... if we are searching for them with an open mind and open heart.

This is what happened recently. Two boys run to me calling my name , Mr. Samson , Mr. Samson while I was standing in a bus station waiting for my bus right after work. I was sure they are some of the students I was working with for I happened to meet a lots of them around .

They greeted me well once they get close to where I was standing and asked me how my day was ? I told them my day was great. I told them my day become even more great for they came to say hello. This is a good feeling when someone recognises you and saying hello , especially students who you worked with.

I can see their excitemnt in their face , I was excited too. I thought, at least that is why they come to me to say hello. I asked them the same question saying , how was your day? They told me it was great . Soon after they started telling me for I played basketball with them during recess time recently. I recalled the moment quickly for I was working in their school recently. I actually played basketball with them during recess time though I was assigned just to supervise. During this time I showed them some basketball shooting drills. It was a very simple sdril, but effective to improve accuracy. They told me they enjoyed their time playig, and they are happy the drill I showed them helped them improve their shooting accuracy. They told me they were able to score more basket after they practice their drills. They were happy and excited when they were telling me all this. That made my day for this is what you live for, become an inspiration , and support children in their learning and growing.

I always believe play or game , sport plays a huge role in education. Sport generally provide students an opportunity to descipline themselves in addition to it's benefit of helping them become fit physically and mentally.
