Speaking on WE Day

My connection with the University of Winnipeg Collegiate was phenomenal. I had a chance to share my experience working on this project, and I am grateful for all the support of U of W Collegiate students.

Recently, I was asked if I could speak to a group of students engaged in volunteer work. I was asked to speak about the project, “A Journey back to Sedika from Winnipeg,” and to answer questions coming from the students.

Students need to pick to organisations working on development project, one local and one international. They also had to pick topic that they are interested about. And I was told education was the topic they picked, and my project was the international project they picked for their education and volunteer opportunity.

It was a privilege to have an opportunity to speak in this occasion. It was a great learning experience to share my experience working on this project with these amazing students. I did a short presentation followed by answering questions coming from the students.

I am grateful for these students are willing to support the project. They informed me they are willing to do something that will encourage and inspire Sedika elementary school students to continue learning and growing.
